Porsche Sprint Challenge US West Race at Spring Mountain in a Porsche 911 (992) GT3 Cup

The first Porsche Sprint Challenge US West race of the season occurred on April 21-23 at Spring Mountain in Pahrump NV. This is an 18 turn highly technical layout with ups and downs between many turns.  Many drivers had a tough time with nausea, myself included. I highly recommend ginger root and an acupressure wrist strap.  USAC, Porsche and Yokohama did an amazing job making this an extremely professional event.

I did reasonably well coming in at 5th and 6th in class and gaining 4 positions in race 1 and 3 in race 2. Overall I was pleased with my results.
