In 2023, I will be racing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge US West series at 6 venues in my 2021 Porsche 911 (992 model) GT3 Cup car as a member of the BR Racing Motorsports team.
I live with Type 2 diabetes and work each day to manage my blood sugar. My A1C has remained under 6.5 allowing me to continue my passion for racing cars. Because of diet, exercise, and new medications, I can still do what I love. Race cars!
I am highlighting the work of the Diabetes Foundation through my racing this year to encourage all individuals living with diabetes to focus on self-care, and self-management, and to help someone else do the same by making a gift to help people who are uninsured or underinsured so they can access support and live healthier lives too.
I urge all who can, to donate as little as $5 or as much as you wish.
