New Season of Formula One, no longer dominated by Ferrari and McLaren

start of melbourne GP 2009What a different formula one race. The Australian grand prix debuted new cars, new tires and new racing. Instead of seeing McLaren and Ferrari dominating from start to finish, we see Braun, Red Bull, BMW and Toyota. A year ago nobody would have thought that Button and Barrichello would be one-two in any race. On the other hand, if it hadn’t been for the mistakes made by Vettel and Kubica we would have seen a different result. It was definitely exciting.

I am hoping we have a really interesting and competitive season with a new style of race.
